About this event
Celebrate the season with winter traditions from around the world at Discovery Center’s Cultural Heritage Day: Holiday Open House! Families can join a museum-wide hunt for the Yule Lads, the 13 mischievous holiday visitors from Icelandic folklore, and help decorate a giant gingerbread house. Along the way, kids will learn how families in different cultures celebrate winter holidays, and Santa will stop by for a special visit.
Admission for this event is reduced to $5 per person , so it’s easy to bring the whole family to make memories and learn something new together.
Get a head start on your holiday shopping, too! All guests will receive 15% off gift shop purchases during the Holiday Open House. (This discount replaces the usual 10% member discount and can’t be combined with other discounts.)
Cultural Heritage Days at Discovery Center are made possible by the generous support of the Nissan Foundation.
