- ➤ United Way of South Central Tennessee is hosting the Baby Basics Collection Drive presented by Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford on Thursday, Feb. 19 to collect unopened diapers and wipes for local families. - ➤ Residents honored longtime MTSU First Lady Elizabeth Liz McPhee, who passed away January 8 after a brief illness. Visitation was held Tuesday at Belle Aire Baptist Church and a motorcade led nearly 100 vehicles from the university to Evergreen Cemetery. WGNS

- ➤ In-N-Out is expanding its footprint after opening new restaurants in Lebanon, Antioch and Murfreesboro, and is set to revisit its Smyrna proposal while exploring a future location in Cookeville. - ➤ Murfreesboro Transit will launch a pilot bus route on Feb. 2 along Cason Lane and St. Andrews Drive in West Murfreesboro.
