- ➤ The Cripple Creek Cloggers invite locals to join free clogging sessions on select Sundays at 4 p.m. at the Smyrna Senior Activity Center, starting today, Jan. 18, as the group celebrates 58 years and prepares for International Folkfest in Murfreesboro June 7-14 + share Appalachian heritage through dance. - ➤ Walnut House (116 N. Walnut St.) is set to host the Curtains UP Theater Revue on Saturday, Jan. 31, with local theater groups performing at 6 p.m. after a 5 p.m. reception featuring light snacks, free admission and a suggested donation of 10 dollars. WGNS
- ➤ MTSU’s Department of Art and Design will host Yokai Parade: Supernatural Monsters from Japan at Todd Art Gallery with a reception at 2:00 p.m. Thursday (Jan. 22). The exhibition runs through Feb. 24 and shows over 600 sqft of Japanese folklore artwork brought by The Japan Foundation and local partners. WGNS
