- ➤ At a Monday meeting, the Rutherford County Library board kept 2,712 flagged books on shelves pending a future vote and moved 450 titles from the juvenile section to young adult and adult areas. - ➤ On Tuesday morning, Feb. 3, a houseboat fire at Elm Hill Marina on Percy Priest Lake damaged 13 boats — firefighters and marine crews used a tank‑to‑tank water supply to contain the flames, and no injuries were reported. WGNS

- ➤ Creek Wood High senior Abby Baker was named to the TSWA Class AA All State Volleyball Team and the TVCA All State Team for the 2025 season.
