- ➤ Dr. Eric Moskow has challenged State Representative Mike Sparks to a one-on-one chess match — he will donate $50,000 to Rutherford County’s Checkmate for Charity if he loses. The challenge builds on Marcus Lemonis’ earlier $5,000 donation to support local youth chess programs. WGNS

- ➤ Bradley Academy and Patterson Park are hosting their annual African American Cultural Celebration—titled Legacy and Light: Inspiring Tomorrow Through Art—on Thursday, Feb. 26 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The event will feature student showcases, art exhibits, live music and local history displays in celebration of culture and heritage. - ➤ The Dollhouse, Diorama and Miniatures Exhibition runs from Sunday, Mar. 29–April 4 at Oaklands Mansion and Maney Hall in Murfreesboro, showcasing vintage and handmade pieces by local artists (ticket prices are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors/military, and $10 for students, with free entry for members). - ➤ Three Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders finished in the top 10 at the Thomas Sharkey Individual Collegiate on Sunday at Georgia Southern University Golf Course. Their strong showing adds to the team's impressive season in collegiate golf. WGNS
- ➤ MTSU’s Blue Raiders split a weekend series with No.7 South Carolina in Antioch, led by Matthew Siciliano’s four-goal senior night on Feb. 7-8. The team will use the momentum heading into the College Hockey South Division III playoffs on Feb. 26 (opponent pending). MTSU Sidelines
