- ➤ Police activity has closed I-24 from South Church Street to the Coffee County line — affecting parts of Highway 41 — since before 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, causing heavy traffic delays and forcing drivers to use alternate routes. WGNS

- ➤ United Communications received an $18.1M BEAD grant to expand its fiber network in rural Middle Tennessee — connecting about 1,800 underserved homes and businesses across Maury, Rutherford, Trousdale, Williamson and Wilson counties by Dec. 31. Rutherford County Source

- ➤ As of March 11, Tennessee regular gas hit $3.20 per gallon—up from $2.54 a month ago—and experts predict prices could rise to between $3.50 and $3.65 if the Iran conflict disrupts oil supplies. The Daily News Journal

- ➤ Rutherford County health inspectors released scores from routine inspections of food service and child care facilities from March 4-11; reports are posted visibly and available at county health offices for public review. Rutherford County Source
