CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ MTSU’s Center for Historic Preservation is working with Vincent Windrow and the Friends of Cemetery School to restore an old segregated school in Murfreesboro as a museum and community center planned to open in summer 2026 — the project will preserve classroom artifacts and offer local students hands-on history lessons. - ➤ Rutherford Mayor Joe Carr said he opposes expanding the private Middle Point Landfill on adjacent county land—land that is planned for a future solid waste transfer station. The Daily News Journal
