- ➤ Owner Brittany Worden launched Lil Brit Vintage on City Square in early March after growing her dream in high school—she honed her skills through trade school classes and vintage market events. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Deputy Director Ram Balachandran of the Murfreesboro Transportation Department has developed a computer model that shows road congestion for today through April 12 by mixing an April flower forecast with updates from road work. City and contractor crews will use lane closures and flagging operations on routes like Butler Dr and Hwy 99 (and others such as Minor St and Elam Rd) to guide drivers through the work (covering projects from Wilkinson Pike to Google Fiber installations). SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Riverdale High School's girls rugby club team has had success in recent seasons by finishing runner-up to Father Ryan and winning a state title, with both males and females taking part. The team plays a 15’s season now and will switch to competing in 7’s in the fall while coach Majesta Conley said the sport builds strength and teamwork—key to the club’s growing legacy.
