- ➤ Middle Tennessee Electric hosted its 24th Annual Earth Day Celebration on April 26 in Murfreesboro’s historic downtown square, where families enjoyed sunny weather and activities focused on clean energy and sustainability & free refreshments were provided by MTE and Kroger. Booths showcased local initiatives like TreeWise and ProSolar, a Kids Zone offered games and inflatables, and local groups performed while winners of the Earth Day Poster Contest were announced. WGNS
