- ➤ A 19-year-old man named Joshua Wiley Hearnes was arrested after a Crime Analysis Unit linked him to over a dozen graffiti incidents on W. Northfield Boulevard and MTCS Road where tags including Dope, Doper, South and AAB Crew were spray-painted—officers used surveillance to detain him and he was later released on a $5,000 bond with a hearing set for June 16. - ➤ Murfreesboro attorney Kirk Catron was indicted on five felony counts for drug and jail telecommunications offenses from incidents on March 4, March 5 and March 6, and he posted a $10,000 bond after his May 8 booking; he is set to appear before Circuit Court Judge James Turner on June 30 at the Rutherford County Judicial Center. - ➤ Rutherford County published health inspection scores for pools, tattoo studios, child care facilities and food service places from May 6th to 13th. - ➤ The health department released the lowest food safety scores for Rutherford County from May 6-13; Shabu Shabu Hot Pot and Grill in Murfreesboro earned a score of 792—its auxiliary location scored 902 while EL PARIENTE in Smyrna scored 941.
