Today, the Tennessee Valley Lineman Rodeo opened at 1:30 p.m. at Williamson Family Farm (3250 Wilkinson Pike) in Murfreesboro where linemen from local utilities compete in categories such as apprentices, journeymen teams, individual linemen and senior competitors.

The free event will showcase technical skill and safety practices while drawing local families and industry supporters for a weekend of community celebration.
