On Monday, June 9, Deputy Hayden Miller rescued a fawn caught in a fence near Christiana — the young deer was freed and reunited with its mother.

Emergency crews responded Tuesday to a small plane crash on Clark Boulevard in Murfreesboro — the three occupants were injured and taken to the hospital in stable condition — and the FAA will investigate the cause.

Murfreesboro Fire Rescue responded to a home on Manson Crossing Drive after a lightning strike and found light smoke from the roof plus charred parts while no one was hurt, as teams controlled the scene and continued to monitor for hot spots.

Main Street Murfreesboro will host the free Friday Night Live concert on Friday, June 13 when Lisa Law and the Suspects perform live in front of the Rutherford County Courthouse & streets will be closed to create a safe space for a festive gathering with free parking and food trucks available.
