Residents can purchase an engraved brick—costing $50 for a 4×8 or $100 for an 8×8—to honor military members, first responders or loved ones at the 9/11 Memorial on New Salem Highway; the program, launched by the sheriff’s academy alumni association, builds a lasting community tribute.
Downtown Murfreesboro will welcome a new landmark when local residents unveil the USA 250 Mural Mosaic, an 8-by-16-foot artwork made of 650 hand-painted tiles beside Shacklett’s Photography at 6:00 p.m., Friday, July 3.

Twig girdler beetles are causing branches to fall in yards and leaving signs of small scratches on tree bark.

United Communications’ UControl app offers easy screen time limits for families enjoying summer break in Murfreesboro.

Reser's Fine Foods recalled 5,300 lbs (approx.) of pasta salad that contains chicken salad with unlisted egg and milk allergens after detecting the error on Thursday.
The mispackaged product was shipped to stores including Tennessee, and consumers should discard or return it.

Former Blue Raider golfer and assistant coach Payne Denman completed a three-peat by winning his third consecutive title at the 111th Tennessee Amateur Championship hosted by Middle Tennessee State.
