- ➤ MTSU hosted the Civil Air Patrol National Cadet Engineering Technology Academy from July 7 to 11 where 40 cadets from over 20 states took part in STEM activities including lunar rover rides and simulator flights—adding valuable practical experience. The university’s Center for Historic Preservation earned an Award of Excellence from the Tennessee Association of Museums and is displaying its exhibit 'Two Families, Two Revolutions' today at the Heritage Center of Murfreesboro and Rutherford County, 225 W.
