- ➤ Mahi Parsai — an audio production student from India — recorded a song with the band Stones River Revival at a state-of-the-art studio in MTSU's College of Media and Entertainment after meeting them at a Blue Raider football game last fall. He said the project built his skills and confidence in audio work while the band enjoyed returning to their alma mater. WGNS
- ➤ Murfreesboro City Schools and Rutherford County Schools held a half day on Wednesday and closed on Thursday for a teacher workday. Full classes for grades 1-6 and 1-12 begin today while kindergarten students start gradually next week — local officials note that safety has been increased with school resource officers and enrollment numbers may adjust in the coming weeks.
