- ➤ Demos’ Restaurant will open a new location on the first floor of MTSU’s Student Union building at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 25. The celebration will feature a ribbon-cutting with MTSU’s mascot (Lightning) and the Blue Raider Spirit Squad, and the first 100 customers will receive swag bags with a golden ticket for a free meal each day during fall. - ➤ World Outreach Church in Murfreesboro will host Dr. Henry Cloud—an acclaimed clinical psychologist and bestselling author—at its services on Saturday, August 16 at 6 p.m. and Sunday, August 17 at 9:30 a.m., where he will share insights on applying biblical truths to daily challenges.
