- ➤ Murfreesboro Police arrested an 18-year-old driver on Aug. 23 after his left turn from Golf Lane onto Old Fort Parkway struck a 23-year-old pedestrian in a marked crosswalk on Aug. 5, 2025, killing her and leading to vehicular homicide by recklessness charges while he was released on a $50,000 bond — authorities continue to investigate the case. - ➤ The 2025 Boro Clue Party will take place at Oaklands Mansion in Murfreesboro at 6 pm on October 18th—volunteers will act as characters while guests solve a live-action mystery to win cash prizes and costume awards. Rutherford County Source
