- ➤ On Friday morning, Murfreesboro Fire Rescue and Police responded to a crash on NW Broad Street near Van Cleve Lane — a collision between a car and a motorcycle near the railroad tracks that caused injuries and delays while investigators examine the cause. Rutherford County Source

- ➤ Today, the Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department launched Community Connect—a secure, citizen-driven platform that lets residents and business owners share vital safety information to help firefighters prepare for emergencies. - ➤ City officials and transportation leaders cut the ribbon for the new Murfreesboro Transit Center at 324 New Salem Hwy on Aug. 28—this facility with a passenger pavilion, maintenance building, and administration offices will open to the public on Sept. 8 to serve growing travel needs.
