- ➤ The Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department announced promotions for two team members—Josh Warren promoted to captain/paramedic and Justin Dillard promoted to driver engineer—as a recognition of their long service. - ➤ Rutherford County celebrated the groundbreaking of its new Regional Forensic Center in Smyrna on Aug. 26 and plans to open the $15 million facility in early 2027.
