The Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department announced promotions for two team members—Josh Warren promoted to captain/paramedic and Justin Dillard promoted to driver engineer—as a recognition of their long service.

Fire Chief Mark McCluskey said the promotions reflect their strong leadership and dedication to serving our community.

Rutherford County celebrated the groundbreaking of its new Regional Forensic Center in Smyrna on Aug.
