- ➤ On Saturday, September 27, 2025, Boro Beach will host Puppy Plunge at 10am where dogs will enjoy a dip in the pool as the facility is prepared for winter—humans are kept out and dogs must be spayed, neutered and vaccinated. City of Murfreesboro
- ➤ The Rutherford County Farmers Market is hosting its Fall Harvest Festival on Tuesday, Sept. 30th at Lane Agri-Park Community Center in Murfreesboro—families can enjoy movie showings, an indoor pumpkin patch and local vendor stalls while noting that the regular Tuesday morning market will not occur. The event celebrates fall traditions and supports local agriculture with activities for every age. WGNS
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Oakland High School joined with Archie’s Promise and Bethel Missionary Baptist Church to cut the ribbon on a hygiene vending machine for students Monday. Archie’s Promise used grant funds (around $4,200 per machine) to install 17 units in local schools and clubs and is now seeking sponsors to cover supplies for the school year.
