- ➤ The Murfreesboro Municipal Airport will host its 4th Annual Airport STEAM Fest on Oct. 14 and Oct. 18 featuring an art show of 65 student-designed airline liveries on Tuesday and hands-on STEAM exhibits on Saturday with flight simulators, aircraft tours, and displays by Vanderbilt LifeFlight, military drones, a Blackhawk helicopter and local city vehicles. The event partners with the Discovery Center’s Tennessee STEAM Festival, which runs from Oct. 10 to Oct. 26 — the festivities include free hot dogs and interactive activities for all ages. WGNS
