- ➤ The Salvation Army on West Main Street in Murfreesboro reports that more families need food and help with bills as the federal shutdown continues. - ➤ On Saturday, November 9, a Vanderbilt LifeFlight helicopter crashed in Wilson County, killing crew member Allan Williams and seriously injuring flight paramedic Andy Sikes and the pilot—no patient was aboard at the time. Rutherford County Source

- ➤ M.L.Rose Neighborhood Pub will open its doors on Nov. 24 at 2108 Medical Center Parkway just ahead of Thanksgiving, according to founder Austin Ray.
