- ➤ Anthony “Papa Tony” Knox, a Murfreesboro resident and Marine veteran, received a Quilt of Valor from the Captain William Lytle Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution at the Heritage Center on November 15—he expressed gratitude for the quilt’s red, white and blue design while his wife, daughter, and granddaughters attended the ceremony, marking him as the tenth recipient and first Black veteran to receive the honor.
