Rutherford County SROs will host the Shop with the Sheriff fundraiser on December 2 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toot’s restaurants—Broad Street, South Church, and Franklin Road—to raise funds for Christmas shopping for about 30 needy elementary students.

Tennessee law allows beer sales on Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter at grocery and package stores while liquor stores remain closed on those holidays.
