- ➤ On Dec. 24, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Cedar Glade Brews at 906 Ridgely Road in Murfreesboro will host its fourth annual Procrastinator’s Craft Fair to offer unique, handcrafted holiday gifts & beer to last-minute shoppers. - ➤ Rutherford County Historical Society invites community members to visit the Ransom School House this Saturday (Dec. 27) for free coffee and local history, and to join a New Year celebration on Jan. 3 where neighbors share appetizers and stories. WGNS
- ➤ Six live shows are set from Dec. 21-27. Fans can see Lady A at Ryman Auditorium and Opry Country Christmas at the Opry House, with events in Franklin, at Bluebird Cafe, and at 3rd and Lindsley, while Rubiks Groove will perform in Murfreesboro on Dec. 26. Rutherford County Source

- ➤ MTSU men’s basketball overcame a halftime deficit to beat Cumberland 74-58 in their final home game, with Torey Alston recording a double-double and Jahvin Carter scoring a career-high 20 points. - ➤ On Dec. 21, 2025, during a Titans win over the Chiefs, a penalty on defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons for not reporting as eligible receiver canceled Tony Pollard's touchdown; Simmons said he tried to alert the referee with eye contact + coach Mike McCoy explained the call required direct reporting.
