Scientists predict a once-in-a-lifetime nova explosion in the T Coronae Borealis star system will soon light up Tennessee's night sky with a bright display visible to the naked eye—caused by a white dwarf collecting hydrogen from its red giant companion.

NASA said the light from the explosion is expected to reach us in the next few months, offering a rare chance to witness this stellar event.
