- ➤ On Monday, August 11, the Child Advocacy Center celebrated 25 years of service at the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce—local leaders, community members, and supporters joined together during the event. - ➤ An 87-year-old local who stopped to help crash victims on Highway 231 South in Christiana was struck and killed on August 8 — authorities are investigating the incident with a 37-year-old driver. WGNS
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Ahmed Gouda, a 24-year-old man wanted for aggravated kidnapping, domestic assault, and a probation violation, was arrested last week at an apartment complex on Hillwood Drive in Murfreesboro and booked into the Wilson County Jail in Lebanon—he is set to appear before Judge Jimmy Lea on October 7 while a 21-year-old woman sought by Mt. Juliet Police was also detained and remains in custody. WGNS
